CAD Drafter -Full Time/Part Time

Geospatial CAD drafter who is a motivated individual interested in a career in Civil Terrain and Site Modeling using cloud based solutions.
TC Merritts LS and Merritts GIS is an industry leader in Land Surveying, GIS and 3D scanning in New York and Connecticut. We are looking to add a member to our Civil geospatial team. Our field technicians collect land features, buildings, environmental surroundings and utility infrastructure using 3D Laser Scanning, GPS and total station instruments. The new CAD drafter will use spatial data management services and software to prepare the drawings in real time for the client to analyze and prepare future designs.
Position Requirements of 2 years or more experience in the following:
- CAD drafting using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Leica Cyclone and Cloudworx or similar 3D scanning software.
- Understanding of Point Cloud Data
- Ability to interpret Civil and architectural plans
- Creating and modifying maps for topography, utility mapping, roadways and boundary surveys.
- Review and interpolate field data accuracy.
- Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS mapping and analytics software
